As a team, we have years of experience in working with children of special needs and are pleased to provide a wide array of services from our professional experiences.
Dr. Montserrat Graves, PhD clinical director clinical child psychologist Dr. Graves is the founder of the SGAC and has been assessing and treating children in this region for more than 12 years. She is the only Clinical Child Psychologist in the South Georgia area. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas Clinical Child Psychology Program and worked at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City prior to coming to Thomasville. She is a mother of five young children. |
Dr. James Gardiner, PhD psychologist Dr. Gardiner earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology from Florida State University. He has extensive experience working in public school districts and in private practice. His training has focused on the evaluation and identification of childhood mental health diagnoses with a specific focus on autism spectrum disorder. In addition, his dissertation focused on the relationship between adaptive functioning, executive functioning, and symptoms levels of autism spectrum disorder. |
Jewelynn Pulley Office manager Jewelynn was born and raised in Bainbridge, Georgia. She is one of the first faces you will see at SGAC. She is kind and patient with everyone. She is always ready to help solve any problems that may arise in our office. She is the mother of 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, solving puzzles, and cooking. Ms. Lindsay Butler, M.Ed. CCC/SLP Speech pathologist Ms. Butler is an independent contractor here at SGAC. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 20 years experience treating children with communication disorders. She has experience with swallowing/feeding disorders and is trained in Vital Stim. She offers both in-office and in-home services, as well as arranging treatment of children in preschool settings. Ms. Butler mainly focuses on children that have phonological and language disorders. |
Cassidy Jones co-director of South gerogia autism foundation Cassidy is the Chairman of the parent advisory board and the co-director of South Georgia Autism Foundation. She earned her Associates of Science degree in Health Information Management from Southern Regional and Technical College in 2016. She has an extensive background working in the medical field. Cassidy is from Tallahassee Florida but now calls South Georgia her home, with deep family roots in this wonderful community. She is a wife and mother to two active daughters. Her oldest daughter was diagnosed with ASD at the age of 4 and this is what created her passion for helping others in their journey of navigating Autism. She is dedicated to educating others in the advocacy of SGAF and its mission to serve such an incredible community. |
